Eco Parks in Dhanaulti are a must visit place. The eco park covers a large forest area which is protected and conserved for its flora and fauna. This eco park is divided in two sections Dhanaulti, one named 'Amber' which means sky and 'Dhaara' which means earth. Each of these eco-parks are at a distance of 200 meters from each other. The eco-parkis located near the main market of Dhanaulti. Covering an area of 13 hectares roughly, the Eco-Park is one of the main attractions of Dhanaulti.






Being pleasant throughout the year, the parks play an ideal role in the Dhanaulti tourism. The best part about this Eco-Park Dhanaulti in Uttarakhand is that it is maintained by the young youths of the town. This not only promotes jobs such as selling tickets, being guides, maintaining cleanliness but also showcases the enthusiasm and involvement of the youths from the Dhantauli town. Overall both the eco-parks are maintained and managed by the forest department.







The eco parks of Dhanaulti is a perfect destination for day picnic and nature walks. Wildflowers such as purple rhododendrons add to the beauty of this park. The botanical houses within the Eco-Park is home to many endangered flora. The park houses a large playground for kids to enjoy. Due to these the Eco-Parks turns out perfect for family day picnics. It is usually crowded during weekends.









There is a facility available at these eco-parks, named as the Memory Sapling Facility where travelers get to buy and plant a sapling within the park in the name of their beloved ones.






Eco-huts are placed strategically in this Dhanaulti eco-park for the visitors to enjoy an undisrupted view of the scenic surroundings including the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains.  These eco-huts are eco-friendly and are run by the forest department.  The Eco parks are open all day long and charge a minimal entry fee.






Some of the activities that are carried on at the Eco-Park in Dhanaulti include Sky walk, Flying Fox, Sight seeing, trekking, yoga, nature walks, bird watching, rock climbing and hiking.






Timings for Eco Park Dhanaulti - 6 am to 6 pm

Entry fee for Eco Park Dhanaulti  - INR 15 for adults and INR 10 for children.
