About Vajrai Waterfall
Vajrai is a devotional place known for its folklore. It is said that Shri Ramdas Swami, a well known Marathi Saint climbed the mountain in just three footsteps because of which the plain waterfall of Vajrai was transformed into three stairs waterfall. The backwaters of Vajrai Waterfall are part of the Urmodi Dam Project.
The three stair waterfall of Vajrai near Satara, cascading down into the lush green valley has recently become quite popular to tourists. During monsoons, this place is loaded with dense greenery, roaring waters and soothing serenity.
