About Nilambari - Open Deck Bus:
One of the initiatives by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) to promote tourism in Mumbai is the introduction of the open deck bus - Nilambari. This bus is a guided tour through the main city of Mumbai by specially trained guides who make the trip more fun, educative and entertaining. One gets to travel through the by-gone lanes of Mumbai to present city passing over through the most known and popular historical buildings, famous places of interest and important venues known world wide.
Nilambari Bus route:
Starts from Gateway of India - Vidhan Bhawan - Oberoi Hotel - Marine Drive - Churchgate Station - Eros Talkies - Oval Maidan - Rajabai Tower - CST Railway Station - Hutatma Chowk - Horniman Circle - Asiatic Library - Back to Gateway of India
Nilambari Bus timings: 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and 8:15 pm to 9:15 pm only on Saturdays and Sundays
Nilambari Bus fare:
Upper deck: Rs. 120/- per person
Lower deck: Rs. 50/- per person
Please note: Children above 3 years are charged full fare. No cancellations allowed. Reporting has to be done on the Booking counter at Gateway of India.

der is no MTDc COUNTER at Gateway of India. I was told that booking is done from Colaba and it is for group booking.is it true?please reply-clarify or call on my mobile 9320367575
