Alibaug is located in the Raigad District of Maharashtra and serves as the closest beach on the Konkan stretch or as locally said Konkan patti. The beach of Alibaug is very popular and hence densely populated during weekends and holidays. Additionally it's just not one beach but there are large number of beaches which can be visited within no time on the whole stretch.

Alibaug can be visited all year around, but try and avoid usually in monsoons. The ideal time to visit Alibaug is from October to early March. Do remember that weekends get too crowded and dirty; so if possible visit Alibaug on weekdays.
Please note: Strong currents and high tide may make Alibaug a bit dangerous during monsoons.
