The stretch of Konkan coast from Alibaug has lots of beaches awaiting for your arrival. All these beaches have their own beauty and specialty. One such beach is Revdanda which is around 16 km from Alibaug. Revdanda beach is one of the virgin beaches on Konkan coast which are yet to be explored and hence clean. The dazzling sands of Revdanda Beach bowls you over and same is about the sparkling water of Revdanda Beach. Revdanda Port is also considered to be an important port and has been one of the significant ports during British Raj. One has to pass through Revdanda while visiting Murud Janjira from Alibaug. But very few have gone inside and explored the Revdanda Beach.

How to reach Revdanda:

Revdanda is just 16 km from Alibaug and is on the same stretch. One can follow the same route as mentioned for Alibaug. Most preferable is the ferry service from where one can get down at Mandawa Jetty and take private auto rickshaw or bus to Revdanda.

In Revdanda there are many small and economy hotels which provide comfortable stay. Places to visit in Revdanda:

Other than the beach, one can pay a visit to the Revdanda Fort which has great historical importance attached to it. Additionally Revdanda is also known for the famous Rameshwar Mandir and Datta Mandir. The Datta Mandir in Revdanda is located in the Chaul region is placed on top of hillock with around 1500 stairs.
